Máy đọc sách Kindle Kids Edition
Bên cạnh Fire HD 10 và Fire HD 10 Kids, Amazon mới đây vừa ra mắt một mẫu máy đọc sách dành cho trẻ em với tên gọi đầy đủ là Kindle Kids Edition. Sản phẩm thuộc thế hệ thứ 10, đi kèm 1 năm miễn phí dịch vụ FreeTime, cung cấp những nội dung thân thiện cho trẻ nhỏ, đồng thời thúc đẩy và giám sát việc đọc sách của trẻ.
Kindle Kids Edition sẽ giúp trẻ tập trung vào việc đọc sách hơn là nhìn chằm chằm vào màn hình của Fire 7 Kids Edition hay Fire 10 Kids Edition, bởi thiết bị này chỉ được sử dụng để đọc sách, không làm gián đoạn sự tập trung của trẻ bởi các ứng dụng khác, hay trò chơi và video.
Amazon cho biết những ai đã đăng ký trả trước dịch vụ Freetime Unlimited sẽ được hoàn lại tiền cho khoảng thời gian còn lại trong gói, đồng thời được kích hoạt miễn phí dịch vụ trong vòng 1 năm sau khi mua chiếc Kindle Kids Edition này.
Cha mẹ có thể đặt mục tiêu giáo dục, theo dõi tiến trình đọc của con mình cho mỗi cuốn sách và theo dõi thành tích mỗi ngày của chúng ngay trên thiết bị. Ngoài ra, Kindle cũng được trang bị một chương trình từ vựng, giúp trẻ tra cứu từ ngay trong giao diện đọc sách, hiển thị định nghĩa trên màn hình để quá trình đọc của trẻ ít gián đoạn hơn.
Kindle Kids Editon có màn hình 6 inch, bộ nhớ trong 8GB với khả năng lưu trữ hơn một nghìn cuốn sách và thời lượng pin lên tới 4 tuần sử dụng chỉ sau một lần sạc (30 phút mỗi ngày, tắt Wi-Fi, tắt Bluetooth và độ sáng chỉnh về 13). Sản phẩm có thể sạc đầy một cách nhanh chóng chỉ sau 4 tiếng nếu sử dụng củ sạc 5W.
